Venkat Prabhu has given another blockbuster after the Mankatha.
Maanaadu movie, which has come to the screen despite many problems, is a good comeback film for Simbu.

Simbu, who has come down with a transformation of his body weight and appearance, has made a suitable contribution in acting as required for the film.

Time Loop Genre

The movie plot is based on Complex Time Loop Concept.  But fantastic screen play and marvelous editing have helped to overcome that issue.
This move was the 100th one for editor Praveen. He has done the job successfully.
Even though, there are repeated scenes, but each sequence has been improved by the interesting screen play.

Story outline

Abdul Khaliq (Simbu) travels from Dubai via Coimbatore to Ooty for a wedding. On the way he meets the heroine. As well as some many other problems. They trap him in an endless cycle of time. Why is this happening all of a sudden? How to stop? This ‘Maanaadu’ is about Abdul Khaliq finding answers to the questions that cross our minds as to what is the use of this.

SJ Surya (Villain) helps to show the recurring story tirelessly. SJ Surya entertains the audience with his elegant body language and verses in his own style.

Yuvan rules the BGM

Yuvan has played the role of background music as a BGM for the hero and a BGM for the negative character. Venkat Prabhu’s comedy screenplay, Yuvan’s background music, Simbu, S.J’s marvelous acting have made the Maanaadu totally as an ultimate movie.
